Where has the time gone--- Our sweet little man is 6 months old. He rolls everywhere and is almost army crawling. He has one of the most adorable laughs---its almost like a bear cub growl. He's really a terrible sleeper---good thing he is so cute--but I'm probably responsible for the not sleeping super good part because he is still sleeping with us 90% of the time. We are so happy he is in our family. His siblings love him and they all beam when Mason smiles at them. So blessed to have this little one!!

My Little bug is 2 months old!! How does the time pass by so fast. I am so sad how quickly these little ones grow up. However, I love the little smiles he is now giving and I'm so excited for him to soon start giggling. I have become a better journal keeper (not a better blogger), but I am trying to keep a better personal journal mostly because of the fear that time does pass by too quickly and I never want to forget these days of mess makers and funny little sayings from my kiddos. I've come to the conclusion that a clean house is fantastic---and I really do need some form of cleanliness for my own sanity---but I'd rather have a house where there is laughter and fun. I know one day I will miss the never ending fingerprints on my windows and the fact that my kids spill something sticky on my floor everyday or today when I found out my kids ate almost a whole box of graham crackers on my bed while I was at a meeting and Dad was in charge- love those crumbs in my clean sheets! So I have to remind myself to chill and remember to enjoy this time, because it will pass. I just hope as it passes happy memories will be made.

Mason Stanley Landon was blessed on September 4th, 2011 by his Father Trenton Joe. It was a great day. We did a brunch after at our house and enjoyed spending time with family. We had lots of family there from both sides. It's time like these when you realize how blessed we are to have such supportive and loving family. Trent, Jackson, and I all ended up bearing our testimonies at church, it was Jackson's first time and he did great. Mason is getting bigger too fast, it's moments when he snuggles in close to me that I remember how short lived this newborn baby stage is and makes me cry. I've decided the only reason it's okay that our kids get older is because as parents we understand that we want them to have these same unexplainable feelings of love for there own children someday. So even though I hate seeing my kids get big sooo fast, I'm excited for them to one day change the world.

I'm sitting here looking at a beautiful baby boy---perfect as can be and realizing how blessed I am! Mason Stanley Landon was born July 26th 2011 at 4:04 p.m. at Bingham Memorial Hospital in Blackfoot, Idaho. He weighed 7# 2 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. Labor and Delivery went really well. I went to the hospital at 6:00 a.m. hoping to be dilated more that I was, but I was still a 2-3, so they gave me a cytotec pill to help soften my cervix. By 11:00 I was still only a three, so they started me on pitocin. My contractions really picked up after that and be 1:30 the Dr. came and broke my water. By this time, my contractions were feeling really strong, it's funny how you forget how terrible they really are. Anesthesia walked in and talked with me and after a few minutes I went for the epidural--drugs are amazingt!! Anyway 45 min or so after I got my epidural they went to put my catheter in and I was 9 + centimeters. The Doctor came over about 3:45 and once we were ready to push, it only took me three pushes and my cute little man was here. By far this was my easiest delivery. So grateful it all went so well, as a Labor and Delivery nurse I am always worried things will go wrong. but we were blessed and both of us were okay. He has had no complications and is a healthy little boy. He has a good amount of dark hair, with a really light auburn tint to it. At first I was sure he had no resemblance to any of my kids, but now that I have looked through Jackson's baby book, I realize he looks a lot like my little Jackson. He is already a little pig and thinks he needs to eat every few hours, luckily he has had no issues with nursing. We still have to figure out nighttime, he does much better in the day as far as naps go, but last night was not as bad. The other kids have done pretty well with the adjustment. Jackson is thrilled to have a little brother, a roommate!! Rees never wants to stop holding him and Reagan is pretending to be excited, but we can tell she's trying to figure out her place in this new family dynamic. She has done okay, but like any two year old she needs to learn a new definition of soft and we are hoping that the stealing of the pacifier will eventually end. It's crazy to think that we have four kids!! This week will be more of a reality check because Trent will be going back to work and my mom who was able to be with us until yesterday has also left to go home to her family. It will be okay. I am so grateful for the love of family. I'm lucky that one of my best friends in life is my mom--she has blessed me life in so many ways. We had a fun week together and I already miss her.

I'm also grateful for a good husband who does help around the house and is also one of my best friends. We had a good laugh together yesterday over something I said and how grateful I am I have someone I can laugh with in my life. Friday he took the other three kids camping with his family so my mom and I could have some quiet time. I'm grateful for his thoughtfulness. So at the end of the day, I am blessed beyond my measure and am constantly seeing the Lord's tender mercies in my life. We are so excited for baby Mason to join our family!! Let the memories begin!

Seattle Trip!!

So we decided to do our summer vacation early on before we add a new addition. Seattle is where we chose to go!! I have two siblings who now live there: Justin and Tucker and their families! We also hadn't met Tucker and Misha's new addition, baby Bentley. The drive was tolerable and the kids did well. Seattle Highlights: Pikes's Market, China Town, the Ocean and Beach, Fun Game World, Nerdy 30 Party, Ferry Ride, Playing at an awesome park, Good Food , and Great Friends!! We are so glad we went and my kids had a blast with their cousins. We were also able to swing through Boise on the way home and see Rita and Dennis's New addition---She is also adorable. So here are some pictures, I'm actually making a photo book of the trip that will have more details--go me--it will be my first one. Oh the other amazing thing is that the weather in Seattle was great, it didn't rain on us and we were there 4 days!! Loving this summer living!!

First Day of School!

I don't know how my kids grew-up so fast!! Well Rees just started Preschool and Jackson went to his first day of kindergarten. They both were so excited and thus far love school. Jackson came home the first day and said "Mom, I didn't even have to go to the principles office, no one in my class did, but I'm sure people from other classes did" So I guess I need to go over the fact that going to the principles office is not something to be desired. Jackson's favorite part is the the fact that he can catch the bus right in front of our house. We are pretty spoiled. We have to pick him up at the elemenatary school, but it's so nice that they take them! Jackson likes his teach Mrs. Law and his favorite things are recess (man of my own heart) and computers. Rees also likes preschool and her teacher Mrs. Deru. I think both of them are going to have a great year. As for me, Reagan and I get to hang out twice a week for a few hours just she and I. I can't complain and if I'm lucky that sometimes results in a much needed nap for the two of us. I didn't cry the day I sent Jackson on the bus, just the night before when Trent gave them Father's Blessings. I just couldn't believe I had a six year old. But life is good and I am blessed.

Memorial Day Weekend 2010

Memorial Day Weekend--It was a good one!! We left for Utah Friday morning, as in I worked Thursday Night and when I got home Friday morning at 7:30 a.m. Trent had the car started and kids and stuff loaded. Ready, set go!! So Friday we swam, relaxed, and played games. It was fun to play cards as adults. Saturday was a yard clean-up day, a quick swim, then on to visit the cemetaries. How grateful I am for the heritage I come from!! That night we had a cook out roasting hotdogs and marshmallows--how I love summer livin!! Sunday was go to church, then head out on the range for a campout. Monday was the Rees Memorial Day Family Reunion and it was a blast. We played softball and kids games, ate, swam, the men blew-stuff up with guns, and we just enjoyed seeing all the cousins, aunts, unlcles and kids. I'm so glad we have kept the tradition going. So all in all the weekend was fabulous and my kids had so much fun. I'm so grateful for family and the blessing it is in my life. It's the moments and memories that count and I'm so glad we made some good ones this Memorial day.

Camping Out: We camped out one of the days. My kids love camping and Grandpa Rees has some wall tents up on the Uncle Scott's Land that are great. We had fun hiking, eating, playing a cool Church Jeopardy game my great husband made up and enjoying being together. We had so much fun. The Outhouse is a new addition--and I must add much better than trying to get lost in the trees!!

Saturday was a full day of reading, cleaning, and fun. I totally neglected house work Saturday morning to finish a book, that is on the new favorite list;"Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society" I recommend it to one and all. It is fantastic!! It's so good to read a book--It makes me happy! Then later that day we helped clean the church--always fun--luckily lots of hands make for light work. Finally that night we surprised Jackson; Trent took him to the Monster Trucks!! Jackson was so excited and of course had a great time with his dad. The girls had a fun night at home playing tea party/dress-up, jumping on the bed, and watching a Disney movie!! Fun memories I hope to never forget!

SPRING???

So after four months, I've decided it was probably time to actually update my blog. I'm not so good at checking my blog, facebook, e-mail, etc. I'm determined to be better. So it is Easter weekend and there is snow on the ground--actually today most of it melted, but it is still cold. We went to the Easter egg hung at Jensen Grove yesterday and it was freezing. My kids' hands were freezing--I hadn't packed gloves. The kids did well and I think they were glad we went--Rees was probably the most unhappy and frozen, but they are enjoying the candy now. Tomorrow Grandma Landon is doing a big Easter egg hunt at the school, it should be really fun for the kiddos.

Jackson also lost his first tooth today. His Grandpa Landon asked to look at it and popped it right out!! I thought Jackson would cry, but all he said was awesome as the tooth flew across the room!! We found it and Jackson was elated that he finally had his tooth out---I've got to remember to remind the tooth fairy tonight!!

Conference was so good to listen to. It is a time to reflect and hopefully strive to be better. One of the main focuses was the importance of being a good mom---I need to really be careful to focus on and put my most effort into the most important job I have.

Well it is not the longest blog, but I will definitely try to be better about posting!!

Hey everyone!! It's been too long. So Thanksgiving was great we went to Karissa and Jared Kam's house (Trent's sister) . It was great because everyone from the Kevin Landon Family was there. It is so great to see so many cousins playing together. Unfortunately we had to leave early to come back because I had to work, but it was still great to stuff our selves with great family. We are blessed! A few weeks ago I had some pictures taken of my cute kiddos--thanks Jen Hill! So I'm posting some of those. Reagan wasn't too happy, but I was pleased with how they turned out. The Holiday season is here and I'm so excited--We are going to get the tree this week--we are deciding between buying or chopping one down ourselves--I'll let you know. Anyway--I am so blessed! I realize more everyday how the Lord is in the details of our lives.

Halloween!

Halloween was fun! Jackson was Captain America, Rees was an elephant, and Reagan was a carebear. We went to Idaho Falls on Friday night and Saturday Night. Friday we went to Snake River Landing for a huge trick or treat put on by different businesses. They must have had 75 RV's there and different businesses handing out candy. After , we went to eat even more sugar--Ice Cream and then let the kids play on the inflatable toys at TSR. Saturday we went to Jen and Barrett's House for a fun party and more Trick or treating----my kids have been on a sugar high for two days now!!---- Jen had made some fun Halloween food!! It was great and the kids love playing together. We definitely had a happy Halloween!

Trent decided to take a few days off--so we planned a mini-vacation to a place we rarely go--Utah--HA HA HA. We had big plans to hit a few museums, do a day camping, and just enjoy being together. Well we hit Utah Thursday afternoon and made it for part of my sisters soccer game--they lost, but she's great!! On the ride down Jackson looked like the living dead and I ended up holding him while he slept for most of the ride down. He was fevered and sick. He threw-up at the soccer game and that was the beginning of the weekend. Rees and Reagan both ended up fevering, but Rees was the only other one to throw-up. So our vacation wasn't exactly as planned, but we've had fun, ate well, and did go to the Treehouse Museum, the kids had a ball and I of course forgot the camera!!! We are headed back tomorrow, but it's still been fun to stay with my family. I had mom take a few family pictures hoping to eventually catch everyone smiling, they turned out cute, my kids still never cooperate--but they were good sports about it. Back to real life tomorrow!

We decided to have a water party for Jackson's Birthday!! Luckily, I have the coolest in-laws that chose to buy the huge blow-up water slide for their grandkids. So I get to benefit from their awesome purchase. We basically tried to keep it low-key and just invited the neighborhood kids and cousins. It was perfect. Jackson and friends had a great time. I can't believe I have a 5 year old. Jackson we love you. He has such a sweet personality and can always bring a smile to our faces. We are so glad he is part of our family.

We went to Ross Park in Pocatello this week for Play Group. The kids had a blast. My little Reagan would walk in the water up to her waste then tip over and not be able to stand up because her head was underwater. So I really didn't get to lounge around as much as I would like because I had to save my little 10 month old from drowning. She is such a busy body. Jackson and Rees are such water bugs and they had so much fun on the splash pad and lazy river. We are definitely going next year. It was also fun talking with the ladies from the ward. I have a great ward!

This is going to be an on-going blog entry!! my computer is acting up and with my husband being gone my computer time is always with at least one child on my lap!!

Boston pictures finally!! My computer is dumb, so it has taken too long to post these!! Boston was amazing! We had such a great time and it was so rejuvenating in so many ways! How this whole adventure started was when my dear friend Esther Hopkin decided it was about high time we stopped talking about going to see her and actually do something about it. So we found some tickets and Connie Barnes and I decided to go see our best friend in Boston!! It had been 7 years since we had really spent some quality time together. We have been best friends since the fourth grade--so it was definitely time for a re-awaking of our friendship! Esther was the most gracious of hostesses and we seriously had the funnest time. Sleep was definitely not a priority since we stayed up laughing and watching movies until way late each night-- no regrets, every laugh was worth it!! Boston was an amazing city and we really enjoyed the historical value as well as Boston culture. We ate so well-- I have officially tried Lebanese, Thai, and Mikes Pastries: let me just say one word Canoli!! Thank You Esther!! So here are a few pictures

Summer days are fun. I worked Monday night and since Trent was at Scout camp, my wonderful mother-in-law watched the kiddos. So I went there after work and slept for an hour or so then we went to the free movie at Edwards theatre. Then we went to Mcdonalds for lunch. After, we went to Inis's for a quick nap, then decided to go to Gem lake and play. After that we went to Ariells for hotdogs and watermellon. We didn't get home until 8:30p.m. So we packed our day with some great fun!! I'll post some pictures, I just need to download them. I'm so glad we have such a fun family to do things with!!

Back from Morgan again--We have been there a lot lately, it has been fun. We are definitely using Grandma's swimming pool a lot. I was also able to play in a softball tournament with my extended Rees family. It was fun. We even went up on the range Saturday night to cook a hotdog and marshmallow--it was fun. We didn't get back until like 2:00am last night--but it was well worth it. The best surprise of the weekend came on Friday night. Trent had been in Boise from Mon-Thurs, then went fishing with his Dad on Friday. Anyway, I decided to stay in Utah on Friday night because our plummer had made it sound like he would actually be WORKING on my house Friday night--so I stayed down. Well Trent drove down late that night and surprised me at 1:00am!!! It was the best surprise!! We hadn't seen each other for almost a week!! Anyway, we had a great weekend and enjoyed spending time with my family. P.S--my plummer is on my hit list for the day--plumming still not done--it has been a month--I'm a pretty nice person, but he will be getting called tomorrow!

Jamison and Larissa we married in the Logan Temple on June 12th. It had been a very rainy week, but the wedding was great. We were really blessed to have a day with good weather. My parents yard looked amazing and the wedding ceremony and reception went well. It was a crazy week filled with a bridal shower for Larissa, the wedding, and a baby shower for Misha. We definitely were partied out! Everything went well for all of the above. It was so great to be with family!! Larissa we are very excited ofr you to be part of our family!!

Busy day!! So my tub wasn't draining too well last week and I plunged it. Fixed the problem--I thought, until I went downstairs and found my bathroom flooded and going into the next room!! So the plumber came and too make a long story short, he fixed it, but we are replacing all our plumbing this weekend---So therefore I've been trying to paint my bathroom vanity for the upstairs--(my Aunt's new hubby--Ross gave us his old one he tore out--I was pumped) So I think it looks pretty good--I'll post a picture when it gets in. So after I finished that this morning, the rest of the day was spent cleaning and trying to get organized. I'm supposed to be leaving to Utah tomorrow until Sunday!! Unfortunalely, I'm working tonight!! But it's slow, so I've caught up on all my paperwork and taking a few minutes to blog. My cute family even came in to visit--my husband is so great!

This past weekend was busy as well. We had our Landon Family reunion at Lava Hot Springs. Trent wasn't there because he was at a Leadership training in Seattle for work. But the reunion was fun. The weather was pretty rainy, but we still were able to go to the hot pools. So we camped out Thursday, played all day Friday, then I picked Trent up that night. Saturday we spent most of the day on the road to Twin to watch my niece get baptised. It was nice to see them again. I wish I had taken pictures of their pig--It is ginormous!! It seriously could be a horse!! Anyway, it has been a been a crazy few weeks, but it won't be slowing down. Jamison gets married on FRIDAY-we are so excited for them. Anyway, I better get going--I'm supposed to be working. See ya later.

Softball

This past weekend we went to Boise to play in a softball tournament for Trent's work. It was a softball tournament for Idaho's state workers. There we over twenty teams and we took seventh, not too bad considering the majority of our team was 50 and over. We played four games and only lost one--I'm so sore today. We were able to spend a little time with the Merrick family. It's always good to see them and thanks to them for helping watch the kids. This week Trent is leaving to Seattle from Tues-Friday. We're going to miss him-I'm really grateful I'm not a single mom. I need to post some pictures--Rees's latest attire is her pink cowgirl boots--they are really cute, she also loves wearing her purple princess dress at all times!! Jackson just got a new bike helmet and thinks he needs to wear that. Reagan is just trying to grow up too fast, she crawls way fast now and continues to pull herself up on everything. I'm so blessed to have such a great family. Jamison gets married in less than 2 weeks, we are excited for him. Becca is now sweet 16--she's too cute for her own good. It's crazy to think I'm getting older, my 10 year HS reunion is this year--crazy. Atleast I'm happy with my life--I've been blessed.

We have a play group on our ward. It might only be an hour a week, but I really enjoy getting to see and talk with other moms. It is a great thing!! I'm loving the sunshine today, I just wish it were 20 degrees warmer!! I just need to buckle down and get some housework finished so I can go outside and enjoy it with my kids!

Appropriately enough, Reagan started saying "MAMAMAMA" on Mother's Day!! It's mostly when she's crying and trying to crawl to me, but I'll take it. Mother's Day was a good day, Trent surprised me with a Red Sox jersey and hat!! You might think that is strange, but I forgot to tell you all that I am going to Boston in July to see the Red Sox. He just wanted to make sure I fit in! I love how he gives very original gifts!! He's a great guy! My cute kids gave me cute cards from church and there dad made sure they also gave my chocolates!! We also got to talk with Michael my brother serving in Guatemala. He is doing great!! My kids are growing up way too fast, I just have to remind myself that this is the time to enjoy it!!

Since this blog is my new way of journaling, I thought it important to write that tonight I discovered Reagan has got her first tooth--I'm hoping that is why she has been rather cranky of late. She is army crawling everywhere and likes to try and find me---usually crying the whole way. She has definitely turned into a Mommas girl. Today was a full day filled with play group, making a few hair bows, haircuts, cleaning, and cutting up strawberries at Grandma Landon's house. A good day, but I'm ready for bed. See ya!

So when I go to work, my husband likes to buy things--well he bought Jazz tickets and we went to the game on Saturday night. Saddly, the game was disappointing, but we still had fun. Trent ended up catching a ride home with a friends so he could make it to his Sunday meetings and I stayed in Utah with the kids and went to my moms church. It was a quick and fun weekend. I saw a lot of family on Saturday cuz I went to a wedding shower for my cousin Amy--Best of wishes to her!! Anyway all is well! I'm happy the weather is getting warmer. We had a fun day of kite flying this morning and tonight wet hit softballs with some friends. My kids are actually all asleep--one great thing about busy days is that they are usually ready for bed!!! The other best part is that my laundry is almost caught up and thanks to Trent, my dishes are done---Life is good!

This past weekend was fun. Friday, Devin and Becca--my younger siblings---decided to stay with us because they weren't up for the drive to Boseman, Montana with my parents to watch my other brother play baseball. We were excited to have them here, I hope they had a fun weekend. We also had a visit from one of my bestest buds--Connie Barnes and her family. They were in Blackfoot for a wedding reception. It was great to see them. Saturday we went swimming in the morning--my kids chose that over going to the easter egg hunt--go figure. That evening we went to my in-laws, Kevin and Inis' house for some great food, eater egg dying, and a easter egg hunt at the local school. At the easter egg hunt she puts eggs all over the gym floor and glow sticks. She also gave mini-flashlights to all the children--lights go off and go!! The kids had a ball. My parents and Tucker and Misha made it back from Montana late Saturday night, so they spent the night and then went to church with us. They headed out after sacrament mtg. I'm so grateful for the blessing of family!! I'm also grateful for Christ, because through him all things are possible!! Love you all!

So my brother Jamison got engaged this weekend. It was a fun filled weekend. On Friday night, Jamison took Larissa for a hike, then read her a cute love note and proposed. When she said Yes, he gave us the signal and we lit off fireworks. It was really cute. I'm excited for her to be part of the family, she is great. She comes from a large family as well. Her ring is beautiful! They are planning on getting married on August 15th in the Logan Temple. As for the pictures, my sister in law Misha was practicing taking pictures (she did a great job!!)---but that is why it already looks like they have their engagement pictures done. The rest of the weekend was spent enjoying family and watching conference--and as always eating way too much food. Larissa's father is the manager for the Mrs. Cavanaughs chocolate factory, so she brought up about 40lbs of chocolates!!! Yea its a good thing most of them were cherry cordials--not my fav--because I ate way too many of the others!! Anyway, it was a fun weekend. Family is such a blessing!!

I've got to brag up my wonderful hubby--he brought me flowers for no reason!! They are beautiful! Tulips and a Gerber daisy-perfect! He gets ten stars in the cool husband contest!!
I've decided that even as an adult after 6 weeks, I need to see my "mommy" too. We are headed to Utah for this weekend, I'm excited to see my family. The weather: still not so great--but we are still going! P.S.- Reagan is all but crawling--the little stinker thinks she needs to grow-up too fast! Adios!

Saturday--Trent is at his office writing a paper, so me and the kids are sitting here eating cinnamon rolls and watching Cool Runnings --I forgot what a funny show it is! I have disciplined myself to actually fold some laundry, maybe someday I'll learn how to keep up. Either way, it always waits for me! I wish it was warm outside-- I need a walk! Trent and I were able to go to the temple yesterday, it was great--a good time to reflect and be grateful. I hope everyone has a great day!

I forget about Idaho and spring---it gets warm and get's you all excited for summer and then it snows!! It's all good--Rees and I just got finished painting her toes-I'm just waiting for her to get it on the rug. So this morning I'm in the shower, Rees is in the front room coloring and Reagan is just rolling around by her--when Jackson and Rees run in to tell me that Reagan has color all over her face, I'm telling them to get the crayon, marker, or whatever away from her and they keep saying she doesn't have one. So I finish up in the shower and get out to find that my little five month old has a piece of black crayola wonder paper and is eating it and her face is blue, her hands are blue, the carpet and her outfit have spots---So when the crayola wonder paper or whatever it's called gets wet, it bleeds color all over. Reagan still looks like I gave her a blue sucker, her tongue and cheeks are still colored. She is still so stinken cute. She thinks she needs to eat whatever I'm eating, she is in to grabing and trying to shove everything into her mouth. My Jackson and Rees are getting too big too fast!! They fit plenty, but they are also good buddies. Anyway, life is good. I hope everyone is well!!

Life is funny---We woke up to throw-up and diarrhea at 12:30-- Jackson wasn't feeling well. As Trent put it, he wanted to roll-over and let me handle this one--but he got up and helped me clean up both the kid and the floor. (The bissell green machine has been a very good addition to our home) I'm so grateful for a marriage that requires teamwork and a good husband whose willing to play nice and do his part!! Jackson is miraculously feeling great today---so maybe we might actually stay healthy this week. Last night I finished a book called "the Last Lecture" by Randy Pausch. It was a great book for reflection and how life is unpredictable so we better make the most of our time here. The author has 3-6 months to live. I cried a bit--but think the book is worth reading!!! Life is good, I am so blessed!

Busy crazy week

I haven't taken the time to write lately. This week has been a crazy one. It was full of playgroups, preschool, library, work--and oh ya-- I decided to paint my basement. It's only about 1/4 done, but I really like how it looks. The back wall is dark brown and the rest is a great neutral tan. Anyway, kids are really not that conducive to helping paint, but they sure do try to be good helpers. Anyway, tonight I actually sat down and watched a movie with Trent and the kids we watched Mama Mia, it was pretty cute. ---(I should have folded laundry, but I figure if I keep letting it pile up the kids can have a really fun indoor sledding hill!! :)-- I so need to go to bed, I'm beat. I worked last night. Life is great, my cute kids are growing up too fast. Oh and good job to my little sis, Becca, who took 6th at the state basketball tournament and to Vince who went to state for wrestling. Hope everyone has a great Sunday!

Happy Valentine's Day. Sorry if this is a little mushy! I have a great husband. He wrote me an awesome poem with pictures of our family. It was very sweet! He wrote about how originally when we got married "1+1 was simply two, our family began me and you" and how that number has changed. Now 1+1=5 in our family. The whole thing was great--he also made heart shaped waffles. I'm lucky to have him in my life. I was not the best engaged person--I had a lot a questions and doubts--how thankful I am that I said Yes!! It's been the best decision of my life.

Reagan rolled over for the first time today!! She turned four months old yesterday. She is such a happy little girl. My kids sure have strong personalities. I think these kids born in these "last days" have to be really headstrong so they can make it. I just need to remember that! We had dinner at Barrett and Jen's house--it was delicious and I ate way too much. Church was really good today, the lessons and talks really hit me. I'm so grateful for the Church in my life--it helps bring peace in these crazy times. Well I better go, Reagan is screaming!! Lots of Love--Bye

So tired! So it's 4:45 a.m. and I'm waiting for the clock to hit 6:00 so the new nurses can get here. I love the people I work with on night shift, but it really stinks when it's a slow night and the clock seems to be going so very slow. We are taking care care of three moms and babies tonight. They are all really cute.. I hope I can catch a little sleep today, we will see. Lots of Love to everyone!!

This weekend was Super! I got the cutest pictures taken of my kiddos on Friday--thanks Jen
We also had a fun time at our Super bowl party. Thanks to all those who brought yummy food. Just a little note on the Super Bowl party. Trent decided if we were having people over our little TV was not doing to cut it so he rented a 50 inch LCD TV for the week--it was only 30 dollars. However, I think the kids-Trent included---are going to be really sad when we take it back. It is pretty big for our basement, I think a nice 42 inch would be just about perfect :). Anyway It was a good weekend with lots of fun. Right now I'm not sure what to do with myself, Jessica Willoughby invited my two oldest kiddos to her house for a few hours to play!! I should go take a nap, Reagan just fell asleep!! Anyway, life is good. We get to go to Addyson's b-day later on--Happy Birthday to my adorable Niece! We hope everyone else has a great day!!

Rolling with the Punches!

I'm finally getting a chance to sit down at the computer without someone on my lap. This past weekend we went to Utah. Dad had planned a snowmobile trip. So we went down Friday and on Saturday packed everyone up to go have some fun. We went to Woodland, which is by Kamas, Utah. It was an hour and half drive to get there. By the time we got there and kids dressed and ready to go it was almost lunch time. So we all hop on the the sleds, Reagan was snuggled next to me in the sling, and go a few miles in on the trail and get stopped by like 9 rangers. They checked the registrations on the snowmobiles and then checked everyones helmets. Now Jackson and Rees both had helmets on and I know it was pushing it taking Reagan, but I was going slow and staying on the trail--well there's a new rule in Utah where the helmets have to say D.O.T. on them---So even though almost all the kids had helmets on, they said we couldn't continue on. They looked at me like I was an abusive mother for even thinking about taking an infant on a snowmobile. Mind you my parents have probably taken every one of their 7 children on snowmobiles when they were babies- but I guess its the other snowmobilers that we should worry about running into. Anyway so our big planned day that dad had spent lots of money getting sleds ready and even borrowing one didn't exactly go down--so we turned around and went to another hill where we had a picknick and tried to sled on a tube. Both tubes popped by the second run. So by this time we decided to go to the Aquatic Center in Kamas--which we had planned on. Well upon entering the parking lot and parking, Dad accidentally got a little too close to a car when he turned and the trailer hit a parked car taking out the mirror and front fender. At this point my Dad is completely disgusted---my mom just looks at the people in the car and says "no body drowned!!" We all had a good laugh about the day later on and the Aquatic center was a blast. Anyway, life is about rolling with the punches.
Jackson is at preschool right now and loves it! Rees is so disappointed that she can't go yet, but luckily she is content right now watching Clifford. Have a great day!!

So my life pretty much consisted of Laundry today--I've got to stop letting 7+ loads pile up on the floor---it makes me ornery! Life is good, I'm so blessed to have such cute kids--speaking of, one of them is stinky!! I better go!!

Today we went to Twin Falls for our niece Tenlee's 4th Birthday. We had a lot of fun and the kids were able to ride their horses. I think Trent had the most fun. Ben, my brother in law, said Trent was laughing like a little girl---I don't know if it was that bad, but he really enjoyed himself. I'm so grateful for the blessing of family. Reagan is really starting to giggle alot--she is such a happy baby. ---My other kids are still awake right now because they fell asleep on the way home--however Jackson just asked if they could go to bed--that's a first! Time for prayers. See ya!

Christmas

Merry Christmas!! I hope everyone had a great one! Santa definitely came to our house. The kids had a fun filled morning opening presents. The Grandmas spoiled us and their grandkids-- again!! Aunt Misha also spoiled the kids with some great presents. I had a fun time opening presents too, Trent did well surprising me--getting me new dishes and silverware and some other great gifts. I think Trent liked the gifts I gave him as well, I definitely surprised him with the mp3 player. Jackson has done nothing but play with his toys, especially his Geotrax loopdie loop airplane. Rees loves her kitchen and dishes--we found out when they say assembly required they mean it!! It took me an hour to get to step number 4!! l Luckily had a dear husband who took over and finished the job with minimal complaining. She also loves her dress up chest and a Dora doll that has hair she can comb. Reagan is happy and she only got two presents! She is such a doll and so good natured--I'm so blessed. It has snowed all day. It's definitely a white christmas. Inis, Kevin, Ariell, and Vince stopped by. We love all of you and we are grateful for our Savior and all He has done for us. Merry Christmas

Diamonds and Shopping

I just returned home from Utah. It was a fun filled weekend. My dad bought tickets to Neil Diamond for Friday Night. The concert was great, (I've never seen so many middle-age women at a concert!!) Neil, for being 68 years old, did great. We had a blast, Kelly Rees and I stood up and danced to a few songs--it was great. We all wore fur coats to the concert, it was fun. I didn't realize how many songs Neil Diamond had written. His band was also fantastic, very talented. I laughed when Devin, my 12 year old brother, told my mom--they are all old--even the dancers!! It was a once in a life time opportunity and we had a blast. Saturday was also awesome. Dad had planned an all day shopping trip for the girls and even mapped out three separate boutiques we should visit. Then he handed each one of us one hundred dollars to spend on ourselves!! What an amazing Dad and a great Christmas gift. The men stayed home and babysat and the women went all day shopping. We made it to the Rockloft, Gardener Village, and the Layton Mall. It was a blast and I found some good deals. Dad and everyone else met us that evening at the Mall so we could do our annual Christmas gift shop-a-thon. It's really fun: we exchange names and then we meet at a shopping place. We are then given a time frame and a fifteen dollar limit. It's fun and I hope we keep the tradition up. My kids and I had a great weekend. The kids got pulled being the Ranger with a tube and had a blast and Reagan giggled for the first time. The one low point of the weekend was that Trent wasn't there. He had stayed for his Grandfather's funeral, which he said went well. Trent was where he needed to be and I felt like I was where I needed to be too.I felt terrible about not being there, but I'd talked to Trent and his Dad and decided I needed to go and be with my family. Family is so important, it's everything! I feel extremely blessed to have such a great one.

Last night Trent's grandpa Landon passed away. It is always hard even though we were not extremely close. We pray for comfort to the extended Landon family and especially his wife and children. We went to the Idaho Falls visitors center last night. They have a new Christus, not as big as Salt Lake, but still bigger than life size. They even encourage the kids to touch the Saviors nail prints. We watched Luke II as well. We had a discussion the other day about the real meaning of Christmas, I hope my kids understand. To be honest, it's always good for me to take a step back and remember what it is all about!! I love the snow!! I need to get my kids outside and build a snowman and make snowangels!!

Yesterday was Reagan's blessing. She looked beautiful and the blessing was performed by Trent--it was great. We couldn't believe the wonderful support we had. Everyone was there on both sides but my brother Mikey who's on a mission. It was great and everyone came to our house after for lunch. What a blessing family is!! It snowed today! The kids have already been outside. I'm going to be a better photographer so that I can put pictures on my blog!! Life is good--I'm so blessed. On our way home Friday night from the Landon family party, we witnessed a roll-over right in front of us. Trent was the first one to the car. We were all scared and shaken up, but luckily the people in the car were hurt but not in serious condition. We just basically kept them talking until the cops/ambulance arrived. It really made me think about how quickly life can change. We really have to be living our lives right because they are so fragile!! We are grateful for the Lord's protective hand in our lives.

shots and sick kids!

Well the past few days not much has gotten done around the house and sleep has been not very plentiful. Rees woke up two nights ago with a terrible "croupy" cough and has sounded like a emphysema patient ever since. Today I took her to the doctor and they gave her a steroid shot to help with the inflammation in her throat. I hope it helps! I decided to also do Reagan's two month appointment a few days early. She weighs 10 pounds 8 ounces! She is healthy and such a great baby---except for last night she was wide awake from midnight to two am--We were up with Rees so it didn't make that much of a difference. However I think I'm the one responsible, I drank my first Dr. Pepper yesterday and I think the caffeine affected her--good thing I'm not a big pop drinker!! So at the doctors office, Rees got one shot and Reagan got three---It's so sad to see them cry!! A lesson I'm learning is housework will always wait, but a sick kid needs to be held and loved. I'm working on it!!

Thanksgiving Fun!

What a great weekend we had!! We went to Morgan and spent the weekend with the Rees family. We had tons of people at my parents house for Thanksgiving, lots of aunts, uncles, and cousins. It was so great to see so many people again, it's a good thing my mom is finished with her big remodel, because we filled up the entire new family room and kitchen. I think their were about 50 people there. We had fun after dinner blowing things up: Russ, my Aunt Teri's new hubby brought these exploding targets--I even blew-up a pumpkin. It was a great "Red-Neck" Holiday. We also had fun later that weekend playing games and going bowling. I'm so glad I have a family that is fun to be with. Yesterday after church, our little family decorated our Christmas Tree. Tucker my brother had gone up on the my uncles range and brought us back one---It's not the prettiest of trees, but it sure does smell good. Our little family had fun decorating it. I love this holiday season. Reagan is getting bigger by the day--She has the cutest smile. I'll update the pictures on the blog soon. Lots of Love to Everyone!

So me and some friends went to the midnight showing of Twilight last night. It was okay---not nearly as good as the book, but worth watching. Some parts were supposed to be serious and I couldn't help but laugh, the make-up was a little much for me, however some of the characters I really liked. The theatre was packed, maybe if this movie makes enough, the next one will be better with better funding. Anyway, I still had fun and I can say the movie gets 2 1/2 stars!! When I got home from the movie, Trent was running into the bathroom. He was throwing-up all night-- I hope it doesn't spread!! More guy, he's been sick all day. Well my little girl needs me--Adios

Time goes by so fast!

It's been six weeks since I had Reagan Sue! Time flies. She has been a good baby, probably my most easy going yet. She is starting to go back to bed after feedings--thank goodness. She still eats every two-three hours, but at least nights are getting better. My other kids are so excited tonight because Trent picked up a hot wheel table at the DI for 15 bucks. Jackson is thrilled, he can race his cars on it. I love my kids and my hubby--I'm so blessed.

Joy in the Journey

My little Jackson is not asleep yet!! I somehow fail at getting my kids to bed by 8:00 even if I start at 7:00!! Reagan is being a little fussy today, good thing she is so cute!! Trent was sweetheart and made dinner tonight and cleaned-up, I'm lucky to have him. Church went well today, it was a good time for some more reflection. I need to be doing better in a lot of areas--however, we did do family scripture study tonight. I'm hoping to make it a more permanent thing, rather than on Sundays. Anyway, there is always room for improvement. I'm grateful today for family and friends, I'm so blessed. I need to always take a minute to find Joy in the Journey, I know I have no clue how blessed I am.

Reagan is starting to smile. It is so fun!! She's really getting chubby. Today we went to playgroup and the kids enjoyed it. We made hand turkeys. I'm going to make Chicken Noodle Soup tonight, I hope it goes well---I don't have the right kind of noodles, but oh well. It has rained most of today--I wish I could go outside for a walk. All is well.
